I Built a Custom RX-78-2 Gundam Neck Base Using SLA 3D Printing Technology. Here's How I Did It! I recently upgraded my RX-78-2 Gundam capsule toy with a custom-made neck base, and I'm excited to share the process with you. This project involved using an SLA (Stereolithography) 3D printer to create the model. The first step was to design the new neck base. I used computer-aided design software to create a precise model that would perfectly fit the Gundam's head and torso. Once the design was complete, I exported it as an STL file, which is the standard format for 3D printing. Next, I prepared my SLA 3D printer by calibrating its settings and loading the resin. The printer uses a laser to solidify the liquid resin layer by layer, creating a highly detailed model. I carefully monitored the printing process to ensure that every detail was accurate. After several hours of printing, the neck base was complete. I removed it from the printer and gently washed away any excess resin. The result was a beautifully crafted piece that perfectly matched my design. I'm thrilled with how this project turned out!
