RVOSD main board and GPS cradles

thingiverse

This device is built for use on RVOSD boards and GPS systems. Its primary purpose is to secure these components, while ensuring that the GPS connector remains tightly attached at all times. The user may upgrade it later on to add cable strain relief capabilities. The GPS module can be positioned comfortably within the casing and secured using a thin strap inserted through a channel at the bottom. This module is then easily mounted onto the airframe. The main board has rails that guide its smooth insertion, after which it can be securely locked in place by means of a clip attached to the underside. Upgrade: For use with version 2 main boards, certain changes have been implemented. Firstly, clips have been relocated to one side and the clip at the bottom removed entirely. This new configuration enables easier mounting of the device to the airframe, while still allowing the main board to slide out when maintenance is required. Additionally, a window has been added for access to the I/R RX antenna. Built with PLA using an K8200 3D printer and an extruder width of 3mm.
