I got this idea from RVJET pocket hatches by boopidoo. This project is a work in progress but I've finally reached the final stages. The mount slips into the RVJET's pocket but some foam adjustments are needed to fit it properly. To build, attach the clip at the front and screw the back with 6-32 plastic screws and nuts, which can be bought at any local hardware store. Be sure to glue or epoxy the front and rear base plates in place. After printing, carefully cut out the support beneath the front tab and reduce the foam slightly to allow for a smooth fit of the two base plates and main cover into the pocket while keeping them flush. Use a 3.5mm drill bit to make hole-drilling easier. When handling the wing, keep in mind that it has a curved front. To get a perfect curve without precision measuring, I heated up the front piece before giving it its shape. To finish your assembly, insert plastic screws and nuts (also found at hardware stores), fit them perfectly into the printed base plates, glue/epoxy the base plates in place, then put all the pieces together carefully. Assembling the pieces with patience is key - mine looked better after I revised it than when it first came out of the print.
