RV Waste handle - w/ hardware
thingiverse
I needed some of the hardware as well along with the handle for my black water and grey water tanks, and had no way to obtain the steel nuts and bolts at the time, so I made them and added them for the next guy that finds himself in a similar jam. If you can recycle the steel bolt, that's the best and failsafe way to go. You can print the nut without the washer and place it in the handle to hold the steel bolt in place. Then put the washer nut on the back of the handle to keep it from moving around on the bolt. I've included the files with the bolt, and without in case you can recycle your existing steel bolt. The nuts are 7/16 heads, 1/4 bolt. Bolt is 30mm in length. I felt that was more than enough.... Fits my 2015 Outback RV like a glove. I suggest to print this somewhat slowly, 90% infill minimum for max strength, using cubic subdivision as the infill pattern. PLA will work in a jam, but for longevity, I'd use PETG or ABS. When you tighten up the nut to hold it all together, finger tighten and don't go too tight, else you'll snap off the head of the bolt! I designed this as a temporary fix, but could likely work for quite a while! I'm going to keep a set as spares in my camper in case I snap another one off at the worst possible time! When the tank has to be emptied, it's gotta get done!!
