This device secures a Tip-Up canopy in place on a Van's Aircraft, preventing weaker struts or light gusts from causing the canopy to close unexpectedly. Simply snap it onto the lower rod of the canopy support strut. Designed specifically for the Van's C-690 canopy strut. Note that some 3D printing plastics have low glass transition temperatures, making them soft on hot days and potentially less effective. Consider experimenting with different materials or conditions.
