I created this custom switch guard for my RV to separate the rocker switch that controls the rear slide-out from the hallway light switch, which is conveniently located nearby. In low-light conditions, these two switches can be easily confused, potentially leading to a hazardous situation if someone accidentally presses the slide-out while they're sleeping inside it. To address this concern, I designed a protective housing that not only covers the switch but also hinges upward for easy access when needed. The hinge assembly was completed using small metal pieces, ensuring a sturdy and reliable mechanism.
