Update 5-24-21: We made several changes to the design, improving strength, durability and ease of use. This new design works quite well.

These guards fit Airexcel / Suburban range tops/ovens made for RV motorhomes and camper trailers. The two widths are 114mm and 82mm center to center. Some stove models will use two of the 82mm guards.

---------------
You may not have an RV but if you know someone who does, these are a valuable safety tool.
You could make these for a local RV dealer, who could and should be installing them on the units they sell. Eventually the stove manufacturers and RV builders might get the message.
---------------

It is possible to rub against (butt dial) the flow control knobs of the stove, allowing raw propane to quietly leak into the RV. The knobs push in and turn to start gas flow. It would be better if they had to be pulled out and turned.

The gas collects at floor level where the propane sensor is mounted. When the alarm sounds it is quite loud. Immediately open the entry door to let the gas spill out of the RV.

When installed, these PETG guards prohibit the knobs from turning. A rib on the inboard end of the cups grips the base of the knob for a secure hold, but they are easy to remove when it's time to cook. The fifth knob (uncovered) is the ignitor switch.
