RV LCD TV Retaining Side Brackets

RV LCD TV Retaining Side Brackets

thingiverse

I replaced the old one hundred pound CRT TV in my motorhome with an LCD flat screen TV mounted on a swing out arm, making it easier to watch while traveling. To keep everything secure, I needed a reliable way to lock the TV in place. These brackets do the trick - they slip around the wooden frame of the overhead storage bins and can be easily removed when we're at camp. **The Simple Solution:** Open the storage bin doors and slide one bracket onto each overhead bin frame. Shut the doors, and the door frame tension rod will keep the bracket from moving. This keeps the TV locked in place. My wife deserves all the credit for coming up with this clever idea. These brackets work way better than any of my earlier designs that didn't quite cut it. **Check Out More:** Visit my [designs page](http://www.thingiverse.com/VegasGuy/designs/) to see other useful things I've made for my RV, like this TV mounting solution that's a game-changer for motorhome owners.
