RV Ethernet Cable Passthrough Grommet (for Starlink)

The outer part is now thicker and the inner part is thinner. The edges of the threads are filleted and the nut has filleted threads as well to make them easier to fasten together. There's now a 45mm long version with the standard 7mm hole as well as a 45mm long version with an 8mm diameter hole (for those with a sheath on their cable).</p><p>Inspired by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5333121">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5333121</a> but smaller and with my own take on water resistance.</p><p>A simple-ish way to get a cable into an RV without letting in bugs or water (hopefully - so far so good). There is an "outer" part, an "inner" part, a nut, and a "filler". The "outer" and "inner" parts combine to wrap your cable and fill a hole on your RV, secured by the nut. The "filler" part can be used instead to simply plug the hole when needed.</p><p>How to use:</p><ul><li>Drill 22mm hole in storage compartment door.</li><li>Feed the ethernet cable through the hole:<ul><li>Round dishy: Feed the cable through the hole from the outside-in and then through the nut.</li><li>Rectangular dishy: Feed the dish-end of the cable through the nut and then through the hole from the inside-out.</li></ul></li><li>Place loose cable (outside of the door) into the "inner" part.</li><li>Place loose cable (outside of the door) into the "outer" part.</li><li>Slide the "outer" part over top of the "inner" part to combine them.</li><li>Insert the combined part into the hole on your door and tighten the nut from the other side.</li></ul><p>Feel free to copy and tweak the <strong>original</strong> models on onshape (onshape is web-based and free!). <a href="https://cad.onshape.com/documents/789962f925693df41012edca/w/e191d02cc84917871183f74a/e/a9e62a7487254cec55ba42fb?renderMode=0&amp;uiState=627855d4013ead602bad6e71">Click here for my onshape workspace with the original models</a> <a href="https://www.onshape.com/en/products/free">Click here for onshape's free plan</a></p>
