RV Camper Refrigerator Fan

As a relatively new RV owner with an RV Camp Trailer, I was shocked to discover that my Norcold refrigerator had issues cooling properly. After discussing the problem with other RV owners and consulting the dealership's technical lead who serviced the refrigerator, it became clear that passive refrigerators are notorious for taking several days to reach normal operating temperature. This information was corroborated by numerous camper forums where people with similar problems resolved them by purchasing a recirculation fan. Searching online on Amazon revealed several recirculation fans available but they were pricey at over $20 and I knew there had to be a better solution. That's when I decided to design and build my own recirculation fan using a standard 80mm computer case fan sandwiched between two shells and a 12V battery pack (see photos). In-the-field testing will soon take place to determine if this design actually works from a cooling perspective as all technical research indicates a successful design. Note: The rough texture of the internal open areas on the shells is due to my slicer adding an unexpected 3-bead wide brim which had to be manually removed with a razor knife. Additionally, I assembled this without coffee and my hands aren't all that steady. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice MP Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Notes: It is recommended to use scaffolding on this print to ensure the screwhole plates are not deformed. Infill can be set to any percentage, however at least 20% is suggested. The prints above used a 40% infill. Post-Printing: Parts required: 1x 12V (8x AA) power pack with 9V-snap style connector 1x 9V snap connector 1x 80mm 12V computer case fan (clear recommended so you can see if the fan is spinning). LED-lit fans are not recommended due to battery longevity concerns. 8x case fan screws. Assembly: Assembly is straightforward. The only suggestion I have is to ensure the recirculation fan points down, blowing towards the bottom shell. Wiring - Red to red, black to black, ignore yellow wire.
