RV awning pull

To secure the strap to your motorhome's awning, you'll need a more durable solution than what's usually offered with store-bought units. These factory-installed straps are great until they start to deteriorate from dry rot, often right at the attachment point, rendering them unusable. Hand-stitching replacement plastic rods is quite challenging if you're looking to repair one of these failed straps. One alternative I highly recommend comes in the form of an anchor specifically designed with a cut-off slot for when the original strap gives out. By simply cutting off the damaged section and threading it back through, you can re-stitch the strap and get your awning functioning again as good as new. If my explanation still seems unclear, here's an external link that might shed more light on what I'm talking about: http://www.amazon.com/Systems-940001-94-5-Awning-Strap/dp/B0002I94CK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1410818118&sr=8-2&keywords=awning+pull
