Crafted almost accurately to scale, this high-resolution model boasts dimensions that vary by merely a couple of percent from actual measurements. Featuring detailed texturing and an intricately rendered cockpit, it also incorporates an animatable retractable landing gear (only the nose), along with movable control surfaces. The propeller is animated for realism. Inspired by Rutan's VariEze design, the Long EZ made its maiden flight in 1979. This aircraft, designed to maximize fuel efficiency during long-range journeys, accommodates a pilot seated in a semi-reclined position and utilizing a side stick for control.
