Rustoleum Universal Spray Paint Replacement Spray Cap

Rustoleum Universal Spray Paint Replacement Spray Cap

Rustoleum Universal spray paint has an infuriatingly tricky spray nozzle mechanism that features a long, hinged spray trigger/nozzle that doesn't actually physically connect to the male spray can. The can will keep spraying paint when turned upside down, which while awesome for painting, makes clearing the nozzle impossible. The diameter of the male end of the spray can is also larger (5/32") than other Rustoleum spray paints. POST PROCESSING IS A MUST! The hole to mount the cap to the can is intentionally undersized, it needs to be enlarged with a 5/32" drill bit. I didn't trust the printer being able to print a nozzle, so it needs to be drilled. I used a #75 wire gauge drill bit (0.021" dia, 0.533mm). A hot needle could also be used. I want to go back and try printing the nozzle, which is why this is marked as "In Progress."
