The T-34 tank was a crucial component of Soviet armored forces during WWII, initially deployed in 1940. It's known as one of the most effective and influential tank designs due to continuous improvements that increased efficiency while reducing costs, allowing higher production despite heavy losses. The original version, the T-34/76, featured a powerful 76.2mm gun; later, the T-34-85 emerged in 1944 with an even stronger 85mm gun to counter new German tanks.
