As a basis, the model by Sergey Syuvaev that ranked second in the MASTER 3D contest was used. This project, "Assemblable tank model T-90 at a scale of 1 in 16," originated from Topki, Kemerovskaya region, and can be found on vmasshtabe.ru/konkursyi/kompas-master-3d/masshtabnaya-model-tanka-t-90.html. The model was improved and adapted for 3D printing. Tank assembly and test drive videos are available at https://youtu.be/TTvJP5NjGdU, with a detailed description provided at https://youtu.be/4k3HNdOr-ZE. Important: some parts of the model need to be manually adjusted. All rollers are spring-loaded, and jockey rollers function properly. Each roller has two bearings - 12 have 5*13*4 mm (695ZZ ABEC-5) bearings, while six top rollers have 3x6x2.5 mm (-2RS) bearings. Support beams have 4x9x4mm (685ZZ ABEC-5) bearings each, and drive rollers have 5*13*4mm (695ZZ ABEC-5) bearings each. Springs from old umbrellas were used for support beams; any other spring with proper tension can be substituted. It's recommended to print all rollers in the downward position so that printer threads run along the roller, increasing its torsional strength significantly. The control panel HENGLONG (1:16 RC tank spare parts No. 2.4G transmitter / controller / receiver / lines-5.2 version) is used to control the tank. Other HENGLONG units are also integrated into the tank: * smoke supply unit * ball firing unit * steering system * power unit * gun angle adjustment unit Update 1: A new version (1.1) of the model and an assembly guide have been added. Update 2 (04/12/2020): An updated assembly guide (1.1) has been included.
