Russian Kronshtadt Class Submarine Chaser 3D print model

Here are some updates on my 1/1800th scale Alaska Class Large Cruiser model - just keep in mind that certain parts aren't quite to scale. The Kronshtadt-class submarine chasers are actually a fascinating subject - there were 227 of them built for the Soviet Navy after WWII, and they make up an incredible part of naval history. This model has been designed and put through its paces at the exact 1/1800th scale ratio you see here, but it's possible to easily increase or decrease its size. Unfortunately, due to design optimization, it might not be ideal to print versions of this ship on a larger scale because some features get lost in the details. Take a closer look and you'll notice that the gun barrels have been magnified for greater clarity and the masts are much more detailed. I've been sharing these models with everyone and they're just the start of something special - keep checking back as I post even more incredible warships in this collection. I recently tested printing at .08mm layer height using PLA filament with a nozzle width of .4mm - amazing results, if I do say so myself.
