Russian Doll Maze Puzzle Box FIXED
thingiverse
This is a multiple level puzzle box challenge that requires solving one puzzle after another, eventually leading to the center and the prize. I've included three-part and four-part box designs with two and three mazes respectively, which should fit within makerbot clearance requirements. Additionally, I've added a short four-part box for testing purposes. However, if you'd like to create your own unique maze puzzle boxes, I have a generator that produces OpenSCAD files every time, resulting in different mazes from others, and allowing you to customize sizes as desired. The examples I've provided were created using the following URLs: http://e.gg/puzzlebox.cgi/30/20/i http://e.gg/puzzlebox.cgi/30/20/o These links produce inner box and outer box, lid designs respectively. The URL parameters are whole numbers representing inside height, inside diameter, and extra height on the inner box (in mm). The letters at the end of each URL stand for "i" meaning a box is inside this one, and "o" meaning a box is outside this one. More "i"s indicate more boxes inside, increasing overall size accordingly. A set of four parts was designed around a rolled-up £20 note, measuring 15 mm wide and 75mm high with 5mm space for accessibility when the boxes are finally open. The possibilities are endless! I'd like to give credit to my son, James, for taking my maze boxes to the next level - great job.
