RUSH Star Man
thingiverse
Designed this using Tinkercad so don't look for amazing quality. Intended to do a tree-topper but I think this will work better as just a LED lit light. I was in the process of printing the ring-back but my printer jammed and broke my petsfang cooler! So that's not happening. Next will be installing my Direct Drive that's been in a drawer for 2 years. Process is to print the Starman-filchange. This will have a pause to change filament after 3.5 hours. (Or was it 2.5) Either wya, after it does the ironing, it will pause. I use white as the base so light passes through. Black to block out any other light. Next print the ring-back. This gives you a space inside to put a standard LED strip. I sized it so it should be just about the right width for something like these https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07W54PQDD You'll want to cut away a small space from the ring, (i forgot to do this, just thinking of this now) to allow the light power cable to pass out the bottom. Glue the ring-back to the star-man and turn on the lights. NOTE This is a work in progress. I did not get as far as printing the back and gluing it all together. Theoretically, it should work. Post a make if you get that far!
