Model Info: At full scale, this katana model is about 41 inches long. These models have been designed so that two pieces of 3/16th inch rod can be inserted to reinforce the katana. You will need 34 inches of rod total, one piece of rod 23 inches long, and one piece of rod 11 inches long. The files include both the tsuba design seen in the anime, and the design seen in the live action movie series. The scabbard has been designed with some additional room on the inside so that the inside edges can be lined with fabric to protect the katana as it slides in and out, and has the loop on the outside to add a sageo as seen on the scabbard throughout the series. The model's handle has been left bare so that a traditional ito cord wrap can be added. The file set comes with both the full pieces, and the pieces cut for printing on smaller printers.
