Rupert's Cube
thingiverse
One of my colleagues requested that I create a model of Rupert's cube. It is possible to cut a hole through a cube so that another cube of equal size can pass through it. The direction of the hole is parallel to the shape diagonal of the original cube, and the moving cube is centered in this direction. This model is based on a cube with edges measuring 80 mm. Thin connections are reinforced with half-disks. This design comprises two parts with a gap of 0.4 mm between them (approximately 0.2 mm on each side). Available at Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/1D62t8CeKoJ. Enjoy!
