Visäte, an ingenious Viking craftsman, chiseled a remarkable runic inscription on a rocky outcrop in central Sweden's Orkesta parish, Granby, around the 11th century. This grand masterpiece, one of the longest and largest to exist, meticulously documents the intricate inheritance structure of a prominent family from that era. Archaeologists have unearthed remnants of a Viking age manor nearby, providing valuable context to Visäte's remarkable work.
