Runestone U 939 was carved by skilled artisans in the 1000s AD. Rediscovered in a historic monastery in 1940, it now proudly stands tall in the university park at the heart of Uppsala. Measuring approximately two meters high, this impressive stone monument commands attention. The inscription boldly reads: "Forkunn and Brune had this memorial erected for Igulfast, their father."
