While found mainly in Scandinavia, a significant number can be seen in Viking Age Denmark, with over 250 examples known to exist. Sweden boasts the largest collection, boasting more than 3000 inscriptions. These remarkable artefacts are showcased at the National Museum of Denmark, where visitors can explore an impressive selection of rune stones.
