Update:\nv3.1 now comes equipped with built-in features for cleaner prints,\npushing prints back down on the bed,\nsupporting snap-off designs (use needle-nose pliers).\nThis lens protector is specifically designed for the RunCam2.\nI discovered that standard rings didn't last long, so I created this chunk version.\nThe fit is a push-fit and clips into place using the stock carrier's indent. \nYou can't use this with the stock camera mount cradle, but if you need a sturdy lens guard, it's unlikely you'll be using the thin camera mount.\nAfter printing the thin latch (raised strip), you may need to file it down quickly to reduce its height, then test-fit and refine as needed - don't force the model over the camera. Once fitted, it will stay put and can be removed carefully without any glue required.\nHowever, a thin bead of glue can provide additional holding power if you're expecting rough handling.\nI've tested this design on my Runcam2, and there's no visible guard in the FOV (1080 resolution).\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter: \n wanhao Duplicator i3\n \n Rafts: \n No\n \n Supports: \n Yes\n \n Resolution: \n 0.21\n \n Infill: \n 100%\n \n Notes:\n Print the rear on the bed with no raft.\nsupports to the bed.\nI printed this model in ABS at 55mm/s,\n240/90\nUsing a glass bed with 3D-Lac spray resulted in a smooth print process.\nNo problems were encountered, and I expect you'll have a fine print as well. Clean away any support material from the rear, file down the raised clip slightly, and fit it properly.
