Update 2. Added RC-case-32.stl, designed specifically for smaller 32mm lens protectors found on eBay. Updated the collection with a multitude of mounts, primarily created due to frequent breakage of original GoPro mounts. Mostly printed in flexible TPU, except for shoes, which require PLA material since sticky pads fail to adhere well to TPU surfaces. A special shoe is designed for blackhawk helmets featuring a middle ridge. These custom mounts are intended for attaching a Runcam2 camera to a helmet or a GoPro mount. The cases can accommodate lens protectors of approximately 33-34mm in size. One case fits snugly onto a GoPro-type mount, while the other features an original octagonal design. Helmet and Runcam2 mounts are meant to be held together by 24mm flat round magnets, although this has yet to be tested due to the absence of these magnets. It's possible that magnet separation may require adjustment if followed through with. Initially, I attempted to position the camera on the mount while wearing it, but this approach proved impractical during flight; therefore, I opted for using GoPro parts instead. The gopro-style mount features a hole designed for securing a zip-tie around the camera. This can also be used as an attachment point for a string in case the mount fails. Compared to my GoPro, the Runcam2 offers a more affordable, lighter solution with slightly narrower wide-angle capabilities. It produces high-quality 1080p video but lacks 4K resolution and 12MP stills. Keep in mind that printed cases may not provide the same level of durability as official GoPro cases; this design is suited for recreational use rather than extreme sports.
