RunCam Split 2 Housing
thingiverse
Because the RunCam 3 is no longer available for purchase, I opted to buy a RunCam Split 2 and create my own housing. As a result, I gained a lighter high-definition camera compared to the RunCam 3. To power this new camera, I will draw energy directly from the drone's battery. There is sufficient space within the housing for a male servo connector that will enable me to power up the cam. Additionally, four M3x12mm screws with countersunk heads made of nylon will be required. To make my design more robust, I have added an upgraded version featuring walls with a thickness of 1.7 millimeters. Cura estimates that this modification will add approximately seven grams of weight to the overall structure.
