RunCam HD or Mobius helmet mount
thingiverse
I created a helmet mount for my RunCam HD because I was uncomfortable with relying solely on two pieces of double-sided tape for mounting. The helmet's curvature made it impossible to achieve a secure connection. This mount features a curved underside that provides a large contact area with the helmet, ensuring a solid bond. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 (P802N) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: I printed this model at an extremely slow speed of 20mm/s due to issues with plastic cooling and surface quality when printing at standard speeds. Print on the back side, as shown in the picture. No rafts or supports are required. Mounting: Simply apply two strips of tesa double-sided tape to the bottom of the mount, then attach it to the helmet, just like in the pictures. The width of the tape (19mm) perfectly matches the mount's dimensions. Using foam-backed tape will help smooth out small irregularities on the helmet surface.
