Runcam FatShark Gimbal Adapter
thingiverse
I needed an adapter to fit my micro and mini sized cameras like the Runcam Swift Micro to the FatShark camera gimbal designed for FatSharks 600TVL cameras with a bespoke base. For an upcoming project, I required a pitch/yaw camera gimbal but didn't have a FatShark camera to match the FatShark gimbal in my parts drawer. Luckily, I had some micro and mini sized RunCam cameras on hand. These two adapters fit perfectly onto the RunCam micro/mini bracket used to convert micro and mini sized cameras to full size camera mounts. The two adapters are handed - one has a 0.6mm spindle to fit the base of the mount, while the other features a hexagonal opening to receive the servo spindle piece that must be salvaged from the original FatShark camera mount. This is a simple push fit. To get full range of motion in the pitch range, the Runcam bracket requires a small radius dremel'd or sanded out of its lower edge.
