Run-out Gauge Mount

Run-out Gauge Mount

As I embarked on a new woodworking venture, I recognized that fine-tuning the alignment of the blade and fence on my trusty Ridgid R4512 table saw was essential. To achieve this, I invested in a Digital dial gauge, opting against constructing a wooden mount. Instead, I decided to leverage 3D printing technology to create a custom holder. The result is now attached. I carefully designed it to fit snugly within the 3/4" miter slot on the table surface, engaging roughly half of the gauge plunger's travel at the saw blade location. This precise positioning allowed me to accurately measure each edge of the saw blade, facilitating the necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
