I needed a silent mouse exercise wheel that utilized a standard 608 skateboard wheel bearing. Unsuccessful in finding one that fit on my print bed, I decided to design my own. My design drew inspiration from MrFreakman's Hamsterrad (Hamster Wheel), whose sleek appearance had won me over. After printing his model, I was let down by the excessive noise caused by its lack of a bearing. When the build is complete, an M5x20mm countersunk cap screw and washer are needed to lock the wheel securely in place against the mouse wheel base's shoulder. Caution: do not overtighten. For those wondering about support settings for this print, it should be noted that they'll only be used for the bearing cavity's horizontal part and will detach easily. I hope both humans and their furry companions enjoy using this model! Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: The item printed successfully in PLA with settings of 200 degrees Celsius, a hot end temperature of 60 degrees Celsius, and an ambient temperature of 100 degrees Celsius.
