Ruler Sliding Guide Clamps

These tools are designed to simplify taking measurements with various rulers. To secure them, you'll need to attach some hardware. Inside the slide is a spot to insert an M3 nut. I find it easiest to screw the nut onto a bolt first, then press it in place. To tighten, you can either use an M3 bolt with a handle or an M3 thumbscrew (at least 6mm long but preferably 8mm). Note: Over-tightening will cause movement and potentially damage the ruler. Use only a hand-tightened screw, not a driven one. Future Updates: SAE versions of these tools are planned, along with some modifications to the existing ones.
