This attachment transforms your steel drafting ruler into a versatile measuring tool that can be used as either an inside or outside caliper. Designed with precision in mind, it fits snugly over the cork backing of my ruler, ensuring a secure and stable fit. To enhance its functionality, small detents are strategically placed on the smooth side of the attachment to provide gentle resistance when making measurements. It's essential to position these detents on the smooth side, rather than the cork side, to achieve optimal results.
