Ruixin Pro Scissors Attachment and Flat blade Combination

This is a scissors sharpening clamp attachment for the Ruixin Sharpening system. I have created two distinct versions. Version 1 is a Scissors sharpening attachment only, while Version 2 combines a Scissors sharpening attachment with a flat ground knife magnetic table and a 3-position guide system. Check out the pictures. I strongly recommend applying a strip of rubberized tape (I use ISC Racers Tape) to the insides of the clamps for a very secure grip. Use M4 brass threaded melt-in inserts in the two holes on the platform side of the clamp, as well as inserting one into the larger bottom hole of the small clamp. If you don't have brass threaded inserts, you can use small M4 nuts for assembly instead. You'll also need three M4 screws of the correct length. Note that if you're using the Combo version (with the magnetic base and guided 3-point clips), you should also use a brass insert in the small centre hole of the table platform and install three Neodymium magnets into the recess holes. Magnet size is 12mmx3mm round. Simply remove the current adjustable knife guide from your Ruixin pro table, then replace it with the platform for the scissors sharpener, securing it with a nut of the right size on the bottom and tightening. The clamp part of the scissors attachment can be used as follows: (Check out my photos) Note that the bottom hole is used for counter-tightening the clamp, as described below. Tighten the top two screws onto your scissor blade to be sharpened, then tighten the bottom screw if desired. The bottom screw should only have a brass insert on the inside of the small clamp, so it basically opens up the bottom of the clamp when you tighten the bottom screw, effectively forcing the top closed even tighter on your scissors blade. The top two screws are used for lightly holding the scissors blade in place and positioning it, after which you tighten the bottom screw, which then opens up the bottom of the jaws, forcing the top to grip the scissors blade tightly.
