Ruixin Pro III Modification

The Ruixin Pro 3 is a budget-friendly blade sharpener priced at just 21 euros. Unfortunately, the ZY Joints in its original design are subpar, allowing for an unacceptably wide angle tolerance of -3 to +3 degrees when in use. Furthermore, the shaft lacks a real linear bearing, making lubrication ineffective and resulting in erratic behavior. Adding ABS bearings greatly improves performance. When sharpening longer kitchen knives, the Pro 3 tends to wobble unless securely fastened to a board or other stable surface. This instability is particularly pronounced with longer blades. To address these issues, I've decided to modify the Pro 3 and see how far I can push its capabilities. The estimated cost of the required parts comes out to approximately 32 euros. However, this figure is uncertain due to the variable pricing of metric components, which often leaves me with leftover materials.
