Ruins of Mammutal
thingiverse
Hello fellow builders! ================ This set of ruins is designed to be assembled with ease, yet offers incredible versatility. Simply print a few wall sections and several copies of the pillars and rubble pieces. Then, glue the parts together with pillars at the corners, using the rubble pieces as footings. You won't even need to create a base for your walls. Printing -------- - This print is designed for resin printing, but don't be afraid to try it with your FDM printer - post your results! - The full set you see in the pictures required approximately 600ml of resin. - Since I couldn't manage to get the parts perfectly flat on the underside, you should lower the STL file about 0.2mm below the print plate. - No supports or rafts are needed when these parts are printed upright in resin. Tips for the Building Process ----------------------------- - Use sandpaper to flatten any necessary parts. - Cut single bricks from Styrofoam to add them to your bases and cover up any flaws. - Mirror your parts for more variety! - Assemble two rubble pieces to create a standalone pile. - Consider assembling some parts beforehand in your slicer.
