Ruin scan transformed into asteroid/spaceship

During the weekend, I embarked on a mission to capture a small section of Falkenburg's (Germany) ancient ruin using my smartphone. The scan quality was severely compromised due to the harsh conditions of sunset, which made motion tracking woefully inaccurate. This, in turn, had a direct impact on the overall texture and geometry of the scan. In most cases, I would simply discard such a low-quality scan without hesitation. However, as many users are employing my 3D Scanner for ARCore app to create innovative abstract art pieces, I decided to experiment with this very same approach. Utilizing the app's integrated Poisson reconstruction feature, I was able to rectify the geometry and generate a solid bottom side of the model. Unfortunately, the texture had to be entirely removed due to its unacceptably low quality. Nonetheless, I managed to salvage it by feeding it into the bump mapping process, which added an astonishing level of detail to the model. The result is nothing short of remarkable – even when viewed on my 32-inch screen, it no longer strains my eyes. Now, I'd love to hear your thoughts: do you think this constitutes some form of art? If anyone's interested in creating a heart-pumping fight scene on an asteroid, feel free to use this model as your canvas. I'd be thrilled to witness such a clip come to life!
