Ruida - GCC Laser Cutter Port adapter
thingiverse
This is for a Ruida retrofit of a GCC laser cutter (in this case Mercury1). The machine had a DB25 Serial and Centronics Parallel, when you remove these you are left with 2 odd sized holes and no place to mount the new Ethernet and USB that comes with a Ruida laser controller, this adapter plate attaches to the frame and allows you to drop in a USB/Ethernet without any metalworking. Note - I printed this and then flipped upside down to use the bottom, also the ethernet port isn't symmetrical so only fits one direction (note photo) You need 8 M3 screws (6-8mm length). For mine the frame screws friction fit but 4 M3 nuts wouldn't hurt.
