This enhanced Rugged NUC Wall Mount is engineered to address the flaws in its predecessor, primarily the fact that over the past four months it has started to deform due to creep (See Note 1). The front of the bracket began to sag downward, starting from the bottom rear of the mount, just like I had predicted through stress simulations run in Fusion 360. This deformation was caused by a combination of heat output from the NUC and weight from the computer itself along with all connected cables. To rectify this issue, the top of the guide rails have been reinforced with 5mm braces, while the depth of the mount has been decreased by 3mm to allow for a tighter fit of the inserted computer. The other change made was removing two rear mount braces that were deemed unnecessary since the remaining cross braces functioned adequately well.
