Rugged NUC Wall Mount
thingiverse
So after moving to Michigan from New York, people in the Midwest are surprisingly friendly. I needed more space for my belongings after downsizing to a smaller desk and switching to an Intel NUC from a laptop for a compact PC upgrade. To make up for my declining eyesight, I also got a 40-inch TV as a monitor. Point is, even with a small PC, I require ample space. I could have used the VESA mount that came with it, but I prefer to see where I'm plugging in cables. This is the Rugged NUC Wall Mount! It prints quickly with minimal supports (I used custom supports in Cura) in under four hours with three perimeters and 20% infill. I designed this specifically for the Bean Canyon model, which has an HDD/SSD slot. Other Intel NUCs should fit fine if their dimensions are similar. The rear I/O is oriented towards the bottom, while the power switch and front USB ports face upwards. Ventilation is clear of obstructions by the mount, as well as the MicroSD slot. The mount's side walls are 5mm thick to offer some protection from accidental bumps, scrapes, dings, or even a grumpy cat. If you have an Intel NUC, give this design a try!
