Don't expect this case to be ridiculously rugged, but there are two key features that make it more robust than your average store-bought case. First, the screen is recessed deeper into the case than usual, giving you about 1mm of extra protection above the screen. If your phone face-plants on its front, there's plenty of plastic to cushion the impact and keep the screen safe from damage. The second feature is the thickness of the material around the perimeter, which is a solid 3mm. This means that if you drop your phone on its corner, the 3mm-thick plastic will absorb the shock, giving your phone an extra layer of protection. I went through five print iterations to get the fit just right and tweak the phone's pop-in details. It's now pretty much perfect, but keep in mind that getting the fit spot-on is crucial, especially when it comes to the buttons. Make sure you've got your printer dialed in and use your best settings for a seamless installation. When printing this case, be aware that the fit will be quite tight, making it a bit of a challenge to pop your phone in and out. This is because the case is designed to be stiff and secure. To install your phone, drop the mute switch on the left side first, then push the phone up to the top of the case, and finally, the bottom will slide in easily. Just a heads-up: when installing the phone, the case will squeeze both the left and right buttons, which might trigger the "SOS" protocol. Simply tap the "x" button on your screen to cancel this alert and avoid accidentally calling for help. When removing the phone, start by popping out the bottom first, then slide the phone down once it's free.
