Ruger Mark II Pistol Grips
thingiverse
Grips for a Ruger Mark II, 22LR pistol are customized with my personal logo. Print Settings Printer: Printrbot Play Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 25% Notes: I used supports on the left side grip because of some underside features that required them, although it might have printed okay without them. You can also tell from the pics that I printed each side in two pieces - that's because my Printrbot Play's build platform is just a hair too small to print these in one piece. So I split each grip around the logo and printed each side separately. This isn't necessary if your build area is bigger than 4x4. Post-Printing I used drill bits after printing to open up the screw holes just a tad. The screws fit, but they were pretty snug, so I spun a drill bit in there by hand to open it up a little. Since I had to print each grip in two pieces as mentioned above, I then glued the pieces together for each side. This isn't necessary if you can print these without splitting them. How I Designed This I designed this with Solidworks, which is the best tool for the job!
