Ruger American Trigger Guard Replacement .300 Blackout

This model is a replacement trigger guard for a Ruger American .300 Blackout. The original factory rifle has a one piece stock/trigger guard. When the trigger guard breaks you have to buy a new stock or screw on an aftermarket trigger guard. I designed this one for a friend's rifle. He tried to buy a replacement stock and could not find one. We shaved off the broken trigger guard plastic, sanded is smoothe and sealed it with a grill lighter. The two parts included in the design are the guard, a design that re-uses the rear receiver hole and a block to insert into the stock behind the trigger group. The block is slightly oversized so sand it to get a good tight fit. Then drill a hold through the stock to fit the trigger guard. Take the original receiver screw and use it on the back of the trigger guard and purchase a new 1.5" 1/4x24 hex bolt for the front of the guard. Make sure you don't overtighten the front bolt or it will go upward into the chamber and lock up the bolt. Any questions ask me. If you need one designed for a different stock, let me know.
