The Statue of "Rufo," the street dog of Oviedo. The dog "Rufo" appeared in Oviedo at the end of the eighties, when he was almost a puppy. The people of Oviedo took care of him and fed him for over a decade, until he fell ill and was moved to the municipal shelter. Those who knew him say that he liked people and always sought to be surrounded by a crowd. That's why "Rufo" has been the protagonist of numerous historic photographs of the city. Sculptor Sara Iglesias created this statue in 2015.
