thingiverse
Rudy the Really Rude Robot is a proximity sensing robot that responds to proximity by rotating its face away from proximity while flashing an LED light and playing various sounds. Rudy is based on an Arduino Uno R3 and uses a 24BYJ-48 stepper motor and a ULN2003 stepper driver, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, a multicolor LED, and an active tone generator. Rudy should be printed in translucent material. Rudy is an ongoing project and currently under development. This will be updated as progress continues. UPDATED 10.13.2020 Rudy V2 can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4623240 V2 addresses some partial errors in the placement of parts on V1 and uses a spherical lamp shade as its body instead of a 3D printed shell.
