This is my first attempt at using Sculptris, and I'm pretty excited about it! Sculptris is essentially the free little sibling of Zbrush since I simply can't afford the whopping $900 price tag on Zbrush. I started by modeling the head, then moved on to crafting the body within Sculptris. Next, I took these individual components into Tinkercad and merged them seamlessly together. Finally, I transferred the fused model over to Meshmixer and blended the joint area where the neck meets the head (I skipped using Sculptris again because I experienced some difficulties re-importing it). I'm aware that it's not a spot-on likeness, but hey, it gets the job done for my purposes. Hope you enjoy it! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus! Update: Added tree supports since the slicer supports didn't quite work out as planned. Still haven't had a chance to print it yet. Update: I scaled it from front to back a bit smaller because it looked a tad too elongated. Probably due to the picture I was working from getting distorted when I imported a square into a rectangle. Think it looks better now, though! The older version is still hanging around if you prefer that one instead.
