Rudolf Kochs Probedruck
thingiverse
People often tell friends and colleagues that they have a 3D printer, and then ask them to "print something for me!" One designer, Rudolf Koch, had a similar experience. He designed a postcard that he sent to people who wanted a free sample of his art. Here is the design from Koch's postcard, ready to be printed and distributed. Use at your own risk. There are several versions available: * "Rudolf Koch's Response, Loose.stl": This model will break apart after printing into multiple pieces. It fits well with the tone of the text. * "Rudolf Koch's Response, Negative.stl": The text is printed as a negative. You can use nail polish and acetone to fix it, or simply swap out the filament during printing. (You can find instructions on YouTube by searching for "finishing 3D prints with nailpolish and acetone") * "Rudolf Koch's Response, Positive.stl": This model is designed for swapping out filament during printing. * "Rudolf Koch's Response, Fast.stl": Printing without tricks, but the words and letters are connected by visible lines. (See "[Rudolf Koch’s reply](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2628696)" for an English version and some explanation.)
