This puzzle is a challenging twist, simple to produce and difficult to crack. Turning the color segments by one step causes the gears to turn half a step and blocks flip movement. To turn the color segments by one step, you need to turn -4 steps instead. Observe where the gears are heading. You will require two sets of center pieces (black and white), five sets of gear and segment pieces (each color). Use four 3mm filament pieces or M3 threaded rod pieces. Glue the center parts into their holes, then glue them together. When dry, you'll see a hole for floppy rotation on one side. Insert an M3 nylock nut, fill with segments, and secure with an M3 screw. Lubricate with vaseline to keep things running smoothly. I've printed the standard version, which measures 60mm in diameter and 40mm in height. If you want a larger size, use the big version, which is upscaled by 150%. Solving the puzzle: assign color markings to each segment near the black center, but not to the white center. Note the colors. https://youtu.be/wivwpdaGmOI License: Getriebe.scad library file is non-commercial, while STL files can be used commercially.
