Rubik's Magic Cube
thingiverse
A Magic Puzzle Cube design by Robo from Thingiverse awaits modifications to function optimally. With 3D rendering background, the author requests for maintaining quads and avoiding numerous edges meeting at a vertex in the model. The cube components are 20mm wide/high/deep and require assembly after printing, gluing the split side and corner pieces together. Several iterations have been made, with "v4" featuring smaller connection parts and beveled edges. Individual files for each part are provided, requiring cleanup, smoothing, and drilling adjustments. The screws need modified threads to allow free rotation of center pieces, while springs aren't critical for basic functionality. A picture illustrates the original screw design and a potential solution without filing. This model requires 1 axis, 6 centers, 8 corners, and 12 sides.
