This latch is designed for Rubbermaid toolboxes from the 80s and 90s, possibly later models as well. Failing to find this part online prompted me to create my own version. To use it effectively, you'll need to drill out the hinge holes to match your specific hinge pin. I extended mine slightly to increase bearing surface and distribute weight more evenly, resulting in a reliable function.
