Rubbermaid shed wall anchor
thingiverse
Recently picked up a Rubbermaid "Big Max" shed and found myself in need of additional wall anchors. As a total newcomer to 3D printing, I made an unfortunate purchase - a large roll of clear ABS plastic. Deciding to design and print my own anchors seemed like a great idea at the time. Clearly, these homemade anchors won't be as sturdy as their stainless steel counterparts, but they're capable of holding up the weight of heavy extension cords that I wanted to hang. The screw hole on the printed anchor is unthreaded, and its offset design was a deliberate choice to ensure a flat print without any supports. To get around this limitation, I simply use a nut and bolt in conjunction with storage anchors from my local hardware store. Let's face it - buying these anchors is often cheaper and quicker than printing them. I've included both the final model as well as its ungrouped predecessor for easy modification by anyone who wants to give it a try.
